This course uses W.T. Jones' "History of Western Philosophy" volumes 1 and 2.

ongoing - Views of the Absolute in World Religions - U.C. Berkeley Center for Media and Independent Learning

This course uses Huston Smith's book "The World's Religions" and is supplemented by Joseph Epes Brown's "The Spiritual Legacy of the American Indian."

NEW - Comparative Philosophy - U.C. Berkeley Center for Media and Independent Learning

This course will be available in the Fall of 2000.

This course grew out of several successful semesters at Eastern Michigan University and Washtenaw Community College. It is intended to allow students to learn from several different world philosophies.
